At the movies, for the first time, close to the giant silver screen, I could see clenched fists, grimaces, smiles, nods and other expressions and gestures. Back in the day, I would have had no idea of what a life hack was. But that’s what movies have been for me.

I went to college at the University of Texas at Austin, a place where football reigns supreme. I wasn’t much of a fan, but many of my classmates showed up as dyed-in-the-wool devotees. The U.S. Coast Guard stopped three fishermen accused of illegally fishing in federal waters off southern Texas Saturday and seized hundreds of pounds of red snapper.
In a news release, the Coast Guard’s 8th District Public Affairs Detachment Texas announced that crew members aboard the Coast Guard Cutter Benjamin Dailey reported the illegal activity to watchstanders at the Coast Guard Sector Corpus Christi command center in Corpus Christi, Texas.
